I'm a biotechnologist with an instinctive, creative streak. I like to dig my teeth into innovative ways to build our world in a circular and biobased way.

I have a soft spot for fermenting materials from microbes and finding value in 'waste'. I'm very experimental, hands-on, and thrive in the field, factory, and lab.

I grew up as a Third Culture Kid. It was an upbringing that meant that no physical place was home: but home was found in the endless human connections, and in the whirlwind of memories, cultures, and experiences. To this day, connection with others means everything to me, in the work I love doing best: social entrepreneurship, for example, or connecting through food.

In my spare time I love forest walks in the Veluwe to forage for mushrooms, rescuing stray animals, scuba-diving, and experimenting in the kitchen.
